Bikeverywhere began as Little Transport Press in 1984 with the publication of its first bike map of the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. The goal was to produce a map that was designed solely for bicyclists, not just a road map with an overlay of bike routes.

The Twin Cities Bike Map has been updated every three years since it was introduced. Each update includes meticulous research to find and highlight the most bicycle friendly roads, continuous adaptations of new technologies and improved cartography to make the map more user-friendly and accurate.

In 1999 we published the first edition of “Bicycle Vacation Guide,” a guide to the rail trails and back roads of Minnesota and western Wisconsin and expanded our metro maps to Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin a few years later.

We began experimenting with digital maps in 2007 and in 2014 we introduced our new line of mobile maps. Published through Avenza Maps, the mobile maps work with phones and tablets, are GPS enabled and allow you, the user, to customize each map with photos, placemarks and saved routes.

Our mission has stayed consistent since the beginning: To produce the most accurate, up-to-date and readable maps available for bicyclists. We hope you’ll agree. If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please contact us through our Contact Form.
